Would it be hard to alter the forum code so that the category listing showed the last poster instead or as well as the original poster.
I noticed this missing only because i was attempting to see what posts had a response and the only way to tell is by response count if many replies this would not be viable so seeing who last posted to the thread would be a good thing

ok. Replace the index.php file in the modules/forum folder with the one in the attachment (after you made a backup) and see if it works.
Thanks for noticing. It is precisely what I am working on now. Hopefully I will post the fix in the next couple of days.
